Price calculator FAQ

Can I get an exact price without a file?

We show a range estimated from size and shape. It uses the same rates and formula as our live quote, but without the real volume and supports it is shown as a range. Upload a 3D file (STL, 3MF, STEP) for an exact price instantly.

Why does a small part show the minimum price?

Each print method has a minimum charge to cover preparation and machine setup. Ordering several pieces in the same material applies the minimum and setup only once, so the unit price drops significantly.

Should I choose FDM or SLA/DLP?

FDM suits functional parts and prototypes where strength and price matter. SLA/DLP resin printing suits figures and precision parts that need smooth surfaces and fine detail.

Is print time the same as lead time?

The print time shown is how long the printer runs. For total lead time including post-processing, inspection and shipping, see our turnaround time guide.
